Chris and Debbie Ballantyne have been licensees of the Boathouse for the last 8 years. In that time, they have developed a warm, friendly pub where the people of all ages can enjoy themselves in safe and comfortable surroundings.

Good, wholesome meals are served daily and a carvery is on offer every Sunday lunchtime. For this summer, we are introducing our new grill menu, with each dish freshly cooked on our new char - grill. You will taste the difference!

Local cask ales are sold, including beers from the Salopian Brewery, Woods Brewery and other Shrophire Brewers.

We have also introduced a new coffee station, selling a range of freshly ground coffees. A "take away" service is available as well.

The Boathouse boasts the best beer garden in the County. We have just made it even bigger by adding a new patio are and you can enjoy wonderful views over the River Severn whilst sat any where in our almost unique garden. There is a garden bar and we have regular BBQs which are extremely popular.

We also have a function room ideal for all social occasions and business/society meetings. During the summer, the function room can combine with the patio area to make an ideal venue for small weddings, christenings etc.
